Christella Guzman, APRN

Christella was born and raised in Hawaii. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Hawaii. After receiving her first degree she moved to the East Coast and worked at Harvard University Health Services where she found her calling to become a Nurse Practitioner. She entered a Direct Entry Nursing program at Simmons College in 2003. She then moved to San Francisco where she gained experience in Primary Care. She became the lead staff clinician at the only free Women’s Clinic in San Francisco. Christella finally moved back home to Hawaii in 2008. She is dedicated to Women’s Health and community service. She enjoys traveling internationally volunteering on medical missions. She just returned from Nicaragua and Peru where she provided services to rural areas screening women for cervical cancer.

Christella is Board Certified in Women’s Health with National Certification Cooperation. She is also Board Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with American Academy of Nurse Practitioner. She has 7 years experience working in Women’s Health. She also has experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner where she also works full time at Queen’s Medical Center.
