Acute & Continuity Care
Our medical staff is trained and equipped to manage short-term or episodic illnesses as well as long-term continuous care. Acute care typically involves the treatment of injuries related to an accident or other trauma, immediate and severe illnesses, or complications after a surgical procedure.
In continuity care our medical staff works in concert with patients on ongoing health care management. The goal is generally to develop a coherent long-term approach to the management of our patients' health, as well coordinating the transfer of care from one provider or level of service to another. Continuity care focuses on developing and managing a unique health plan for each patient.
