Naturopathic medicine employs an approach to medicine that views the body as an integrated whole and searches for the underlying cause of disease or obstacles to cure. Naturopathic treatments and recommendations begin with the least invasive and natural treatments to most invasive last, while emphasizing patient education and health empowerment on the way.
Our goal is helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness rather than providing only treatment of disease.
This program focuses on complementing conventional cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, with approaches that help to increase immunity, energy, quality of life, outcome and hope. The intent is to address the holistic aspects of the diagnosis by offering mental, emotional, spiritual and physical support through nutrition, exercise, stress relaxation, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, massage and meditation.
Type 2 Diabetes is caused primarily by lifestyle risk factors that can trigger onset and progression of resistance. The primary risk factors include smoking, obesity, poor nutrition, unmanaged stress and physical inactivity. As part of this program, our integrative healthcare team will work with you to prevent or manage the progression of this preventable disease through individualized care.
Hypertension and High Cholesterol
Working with the patient, our multidisciplinary team develops personalized strategies focusing on lifestyle modification. Nutrition, physical activity, stress management, medication, and supplements are central components of this process. Your physician will work with you and monitor your progress, as well as help you build a health plan to optimize your overall well-being.
