REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a blood platelet injection that is typically used to treat injuries to the muscle, tendons, and joints. PRP treatments have shown to be effective because platelets have a stimulating effect on the stem cells within the targeted area. Blood platelets are responsible for attracting white blood cells to clean up injured cells and increasing growth factor production which promotes regeneration and accelerates the healing process. Commonly treated conditions include: Osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, shoulder/elbow/hip/back pain or injuries, tendinitis, and ligament sprains.
